Ella's first Halloween party

My good friend Amanda hosted a fabulous Halloween party for some friends and their kids. Ella talked about it all day and couldn't wait to put on her costume. She had a great time eating all the good food, and playing with the kiddos. I can't wait to take her trick or treating. She just looks so darn cute in her Princess Ballerina costume. My little princess!

Ella and Dylan waiting patiently for pictures to be taken.

They look like they've been caught doing something bad. Hmmmmmmmmmmm! Too cute!

I think this one is hilarious.

Tasty!

On the hayride.

Thanks Amanda for a great party. Ella had so much fun playing with Dylan, and I had a great time too!

Circus and Date Night!

We all went to the Shrine Circus last week and had a great time. Ella was very frightened at first. She would say to me, "No get you?" and shake her head no. I told her that no one would get her, and then she relaxed and started to enjoy herself. Silly girl! It was really a lot of fun watching her reactions to all the animals and lights, etc... I love watching her experience new things. She is a little scared here

Very focused!

Look at the pure delight on this child's face and Daniel's too! She loved the pony ride.

One last bite of cotton candy. Yum!

Our Date Night!

Just a couple of self-portraits. We ate dinner at the Reata in downtown Fort Worth....Outstanding!! Then we went to Pete's Piano Bar. It was really a lot of fun and very entertaining, if you don't mind a little foul language...that is. We would love to go back with a big group if people. So fun! Thanks for keeping Ella for the night mom and dad!

Gymnastics and Pumpkin Patch!

We had a really good week and weekend. Ella went with me to gymnastics all week last week because she didn't have school. By the third day of gymnastics, she was pretty much done, but my wonderful friend Jenny got some great pics of her in action. Thanks Jenny! Chillin'... waiting for class to start
Hello toes!

This how she learned to climb out of her crib. Yes, I inadvertently taught her how. It's all my fault! Ugh!

She loves swinging on the rings.

PUMPKIN PATCH
We went to the pumpkin patch Sat. morning and it was gorgeous outside. If any of you haven't been to the Flower Mound pumpkin patch, you are missing out! It's open everyday till Halloween and it's free! They have hayrides and tons of picture taking areas. Ella was in heaven. They have refreshments that you can buy and of course you can buy pumpkins too, (but they are way overpriced) Ella had so much fun that I'm going to take her back during the week and let her run around a play.

Here we are on a hayride. It looks like Ella wasn't having fun, but she was. I promise!

In this pic, it looks like she is having a conversation with the scarecrow. Too funny!

I can't wait to dress her up on Halloween!

I'm so talented!

So last week Ella came down with the stomach flu...no fun at all! She made it though the night without getting sick, so I thought I would go ahead and run our errands that morning. After I put Ella in the car seat, I ran back in the house for a bowl just in case we had an accident. Yes....you know what's coming next folks! I can drive and catch puke at the same time! I'm awesome! She only got at little bit on the straps of the car seat. I was pretty impressed with myself, except for the fact that I was driving and then holding the bowl of puke. I of course pulled over to the closest grassy median I could find and dumped it out. As I climbed back into the truck Ella says, "Sorry mommy", in the sweetest little voice you ever heard. Leave it to my little one to make a puke incident seem cute!
