I'm officially a stay-at-home mom now!!!

I can't believe the day has finally arrived! I'm free of 7th graders...at least for a little while. I hope to stay at home with Ella and any furture children for as long as I can......and no, I am NOT pregnant. I feel so relieved to be done! Now we are off the Myrtle beach in the morning. I'll post some vacation picks when we return! Toodles!

4 more days before bliss!

1 day, 2 half days, and 1 work day (without students) left. Almost there!!!!!!!! Just wanted to share. Then we are off at the crack of dawn Saturday morning for our Rawls' family trip to Myrtle Beach. We can't wait.....we are so excited! I'm a little anxious about how Ella is going to react to the plane trip, but we'll get through it I guess. We'll just bring lots of snacks and do lots of coloring.

Yesterday, I put Ella down for her nap and as I was picking up her toys, I noticed that Ella put her two babies in her chair. I just thought this was so cute because her babies aren't just toys anymore, there are her BABIES! She likes to take them everywhere, and as you can see they are very dirty. *Note to self- wash the babies* Anyway, my little girl is transitioning from baby to little girl and it's just so precious. I'm so thankful I'm going to be able to watch grow and make new discoveries.

8 Days and counting!

Only 5 full days, 2 half days, and one work day left. I can't wait! I can't believe I'm about to be a stay-at-home mom! I can't even express how excited I am about it. I know I'm going to have my "ugh" moments, but I just feel so blessed to finally be in this place. Thank you God! You made this possible.

We did a little photo shoot this weekend with Daniel's cousin Amber. Amber is an aspiring photographer, and I thought she did a fabulous job on catching Ella's personality. Thanks Amber! You would never know she was cranky the whole time she was taking pictures. I just love them!

Summer's a comin'!

We've had a pretty relaxed weekend. I had a well needed girls night on Friday night and spent the rest of my weekend with my family and my sweet girl. Daniel had one of his races this weekend and his team got 2nd place. I'm very proud of him. Anyway...below are some pics of my little Ella playing in her splash pool. The water was really cold, but she didn't care. She was lovin' it! By the way...only 4 more weeks of school..18 days with kids and 2 work days. YES!!!
